The “go-to” person in the Natrona County University of Wyoming Extension office has received the organization’s Administrative Professional of the Year Award.
Rose Jones was recognized at UW Extension’s annual training in Laramie Thursday, Sept. 16.
Jones joined UW Extension in 2013.
“Rose Jones is one of the best resources UW Extension of Natrona County has to offer,” wrote Cheryl Hackett, who works with Jones.
“I have witnessed Rose go above and beyond to help community members with any questions they may have,” she said. “She often thinks of additional resources we have available and seeks to arm the public with the knowledge and resources we have at extension that they need.”
Jones has also served 26 years as a volunteer 4-H leader and received the Wyoming State 4-H leader of the Year and Rocky Mountain District 4-H Leader of the Year awards, is active in the Master Gardener Program and has taken numerous professional development courses during her time as administrative assistant.
