Fremont County UW Extension office manager receives Bright Future Award

Rachel Fisk received the Bright Future Award from the University of Wyoming Extension.

The manager of the University of Wyoming Extension office in Lander has been recognized for excellence with the organization’s “Bright Future Award.”

Rachel Fisk, who joined extension three years ago, received the honor Thursday, Sept. 12, during UW Extension’s annual training conference in Lander.

“The first-ever Bright Future Award recipient is truly an exceptional example of quality within our organization,” the award announcement stated

Fisk has taken the time to learn about and help facilitate county programming efforts and has enrolled in many programs to gain firsthand perspective, according to the announcement. Co-workers describe her as exceptional, positive, pleasant, organized, hardworking, helpful, detail oriented, courteous, talented and friendly.
