The event, which is the third of UW’s 2026 RMAL seminar series, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in room 1032 of UW’s agriculture building. It is also available via Zoom.

The seminar series allows students, entrepreneurs, and agricultural professionals to connect with each other and learn from experts in the industry. All sessions are free and open to the public.

The March 26 seminar is titled “Journaling the Outdoors: Wildlife Entrepreneurs” and will be presented by Ike Eastman, president and CEO of Eastmans’ Hunting Journal (EHJ). EHJ produces educational resources for hunters, including print magazines, blogs, podcasts, videos, and online courses.

During the seminar, Eastman will discuss the wildlife industry, the history of EHJ, and the responsibilities of running a company, from managing people and print publications to creating online content and staying aware of current industry trends.

Community members can register for the session at https://bit.ly/rmal-hunt. Each session is livestreamed and recorded via Zoom for participants who cannot attend in person. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link for the session they signed up for.

The 2026 RMAL seminar series will conclude with the Rocky Mountain Land and Resource Management Conference, held at the University of Wyoming Gateway Center in Laramie. This all-day leadership symposium will take place Wednesday, April 15, from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
