Bryce McKenzie will begin Monday, June 29, in Buffalo.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the youth across Wyoming and Johnson County,” said McKenzie.

McKenzie has a long history with 4-H as a member and as a 4-H leader and is head coach of several Johnson County 4-H judging teams.

“We are excited Bryce is joining UW Extension,” said Mandy Marney, University of Wyoming Extension associate director. “His knowledge of Johnson County 4-H coupled with his ability to build connections will allow Bryce to work closely with stakeholders to continue building a strong, successful youth development program.”

He served as an intern with the Johnson County extension program for three summers. He coordinated and developed educational programs for youths and adults, built relationships with the members and leaders in the 4-H program and with community stakeholders and outside organizations.

He hopes to maintain and build upon the Johnson County 4-H program.

“Johnson County was blessed with great leaders and past educators,” said McKenzie. “I hope to provide further educational opportunities, create a positive learning environment for all and grow the 4-H program to my fullest ability.”

McKenzie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications from UW in May 2019.
